The Millennial Reign
What will the 1,000-year reign of Jesus Christ actually be like? Discover what the Bible teaches about the Millennial Kingdom, the saints ruling with Christ, a restored creation, long life, peace among the animals, and what happens when the thousand years are finished.
The Judgment Seat of Christ
One day, every born-again believer will stand before Jesus Christ—not to determine their salvation, but to give an account of their life and service. The Bible calls this the Judgment Seat of Christ.
In this message, we examine the difference between the Judgment Seat of Christ and the Great White Throne Judgment, showing that one is for believers and the other is for unbelievers. We will study what Scripture teaches about eternal rewards, the testing of our works by fire, and why God calls us to redeem the time by investing our lives in things that have eternal value.
Will your works be like gold, silver, and precious stones, or will they be consumed as wood, hay, and stubble? This sermon is a challenge to live with eternity in view and to serve Christ faithfully while there is still time.

The Myth of Purgatory
Is Purgatory biblical, or does the Bible teach something different?
In this message we examine the common Catholic doctrine of Purgatory and compare it with the clear teaching of Scripture. If Christ's blood cleanses us from all sin, what sin remains to be purged after death? Does 1 Corinthians 3 teach a purification of souls, or a testing of believers' works? What did Paul mean when he said to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord?
We will look at:
• Christ's finished work on the cross
• The believer's immediate presence with Christ after death
• The Judgment Seat of Christ and the testing of works
• The old man and the new man
• The sealing of the Holy Ghost
• Why glorification, not Purgatory, is God's answer for the believer

Faith Without Works
In a world full of religion and man-made traditions, many people are asking the question: “Do works save us?” In this sermon, we open the Bible to examine what God truly says about faith and works. While good works are important in the Christian life, the Scriptures clearly teach that salvation is the free gift of God received by faith in Jesus Christ not something we can earn.
Consider Your Ways
A powerful sermon from the Book of Haggai titled “Consider Your Ways”, challenging believers to examine their priorities and return to putting God first. This message exposes the danger of being busy with life, business, and personal comfort while neglecting God, and shows how obedience brings restoration, purpose, and blessing. Perfect for those seeking spiritual revival, renewed focus, and a deeper walk with God.

Men of Homes
At Missionary Baptist Te Rawhiti, we believe the Bible teaches that men are called to lead their homes with love, responsibility, and spiritual guidance. Through strong biblical leadership, families can grow in faith and follow the example Christ set for the church. Discover what Scripture says about the importance of godly men leading their households.
The sons of God
Many can misunderstand the verse in Job 1:6 and assume that the sons of God are angels, but is it? We need to let the bible speak for itself.
Avoiding Shipwreck
📖 1 Timothy 1:18–20
The Christian life is like a ship at sea. The world surrounds us, but shipwreck happens when the sea gets inside the ship.
Paul warns that some have made shipwreck of their faith by neglecting faith and ignoring their conscience. Small compromises become hidden leaks, and drifting leads to danger.
But our hope in Christ is an anchor of the soul. Storms will come yet a life anchored in Jesus will not be destroyed.
Building on the Wrong Foundation
There is no other Foundation then that of Jesus Christ, this means everything should be based of what the Bible says, not our interpretation or personal beliefs, when we build on the wrong foundations our life will fall apart somewhere along the line.
The Joy Of Salvation
In Psalms 51 we see David confessing his sins to God and because of his sins he loses the joy of his salvation, he does not lose salvation but the joy of it! In this message we explain how sin affects our relationship with God but not our position in heaven.
Speaking Gibberish
When the Bible speaks about tongues, it is referring to real, known languages not emotional sounds or spiritual gibberish. In Acts 2, every man heard the disciples speak in his own language, proving that tongues were meant for clear communication, not confusion. Paul warns that uninterpreted tongues only make believers look mad to unbelievers, because God is not the author of confusion. The power of God is not found in spiritual performances but in the preaching of the Word, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.
Living for Eternity, Not the Moment
We need to understand that this life is a vapor and what really matters is Eternity and how you will spend that Eternity.
The Simple Birth Of Christ
The birth of Christ shows us that God entered the world quietly, humbly, and without demand for earthly honour.
Workmanship of God
“We are His workmanship.”
That means you’re not saved by accident and you’re not useless to God. You were created in Christ, not in religion, and you were created unto good works. You’re not saved by works — you’re saved for them. God already prepared the path; your job is to walk in it.
The Unforgiving Servant
The parable of the Unforgiving Servant shows how seriously God views unforgiveness among His people. We have been forgiven an impossible debt, and Jesus warns that when believers refuse to forgive others, we step outside the mercy we received and invite God’s chastening. Forgiven people must forgive.
We Establish The Law
“Romans 3:31 teaches that faith in Christ doesn’t cancel God’s law it confirms it. We are saved by faith alone, not by works, yet true believers uphold God’s commandments out of love, gratitude, and the fear of chastisement. Eternal life is secure, but God still disciplines His children, calling us to holiness, sobriety, purity, and love for our neighbour. Biblical liberty is not a license to sin ‘God forbid: yea, we establish the law.’”
The Sin of Adam
This sermon explores the true biblical meaning of Adam’s sin rejecting Catholic doctrines of original guilt, sacraments, and infant baptism. It explains how Adam knowingly sinned, how his disobedience brought both physical and spiritual death into the world, and how all people inherit a sin nature rather than Adam’s guilt. Using clear KJV Scripture, this message shows that every person is accountable for their own sin, that children are born innocent, and that salvation is found only in Jesus Christ, not in any church system. Adam brought death, but Christ brings life and restores what was lost.
Try The Spirits
Discover why Christians must “try the spirits” and test every teaching against Scripture. This sermon exposes modern false prophets, money-driven doctrines, and deception creeping into the church. Learn how to guard your faith with the Word of God, understand the whole counsel of Scripture, and avoid being tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine. A clear call for believers to return to the Bible, stand on truth, and recognize the spirit of truth from the spirit of error in these last days.
