  • Missionary

    Brother Chevi Rickard is a native of Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand born in Hastings and raised in Wairoa. His deep connection to the region makes it an ideal place for planting a local New Testament church. Having experienced both the challenges and blessings of life, he has a unique perspective that allows him to relate to people from all walks of life.

    In 2010, Brother Chevi was introduced to Jesus Christ, and by 2013, he had fully committed his life to serving the church. He married his wife, Analiza, in 2015 at Baptist Bible Church Wellington, and together they are blessed with four beautiful children.

    Over the years, Brother Chevi has faithfully served at North Shore Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in various ministries. His roles have included leading prayer meetings, preaching in Sunday school, overseeing youth groups, and running the evangelism ministry. His dedication to the church extends beyond preaching—he is deeply involved in discipleship and community outreach. On February 2025 he was authorized as a missionary worker by North Shore Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.

    Beyond his ministry, Brother Chevi has a diverse professional background. He has owned two businesses—one in the electrical industry and another in custom apparel printing. His skills extend to web design, graphic design, application management, and IT, all of which he uses to serve both the church and the community.

    Brother Chevi’s passion for spreading the gospel and his broad range of skills make him a valuable leader in the mission of planting churches across the East Coast of New Zealand.

We are dedicated to planting churches along the East Coast of New Zealand, from the Gisborne region to the Hawke’s Bay region. With God’s guidance, we strive to see this vision become a reality.

As an Independent Fundamental Baptist Church, we believe in the perpetuity of the local church and remain steadfast in our commitment to biblical truth. We use the King James Bible as the perfect and preserved Word of God, guiding our lives and teachings.

We are a soul-winning ministry, passionate about sharing the gospel with our local communities. Regular outreach and evangelism are at the heart of our ministry, as we seek to bring others to Christ.
