The Covenants of Israel
I see a lot of people misunderstanding the times of biblical prophecy, after watching an interview of Jack Hibbs with PragerU, I was shocked to see the adamancy that almost felt like a desperate attempt to attack all who otherwise believe exactly like Jack Hibbs, but I believe the Bible clear on this topic of Israel and the covenants that they proclaim is the rightful reasons for Israel to commit genocide today.
1️⃣ Abrahamic Covenant
Abrahamic Covenant - God gave Abrahams seed, the land
Mosaic Covenant - Israel has been given the land by God
Davidic Covenant - Israel must have an everlasting king
📖 Genesis 12:1-3 (KJV) Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
This is verse they all start with, but the problem with this, is Physical nation of Israel is not the seed of Abraham?
📖 Galatians 3:16 (KJV) Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
The seed is Christ and those that are in Christ (Christians) are apart of that seed.
📖 Galatians 3:7 (KJV) Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
Its clear to see that bible was never about a singular group of people, rather God was planning to bring the world together through Abraham which is far greater then a singular group of people?
📖 Galatians 3:29 (KJV) And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
The question I would like to ask is why do people like Jack Hibbs have to condemn those that don’t agree with them, why are they so fixated on a physical nation, rather than being happy for a spiritual nation of Israel called Christianity!
📖 Romans 2:28-29 (KJV) For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
There is a reason and Satan knows, its the plan for a one world order
physical Israel will set up a new temple
They will demand the rest of the world to obey
They will force a one world order
Physical Israel will continue to hate Jesus and look to bring in their own Messiah (The Anti-Christ)
This doesn’t help christianity in fact Israel will have no regards for the Bible and Jesus said.
📖 John 5:45-47 (KJV) Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. 46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. 47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?
The biggest issue is missed in prophecy which is Spiritual Israel, no one cares for the symbolism of the covenants, rather they fixate on the physical which is worldly thinking. But let’s continue looking at the scriptures and compare.
📖 Hebrews 11:9-10 (KJV) By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: 10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
This means that Abraham and his physical seed wasn’t really concerned with gaining a physical land but rather a heavenly one which is New Jerusalem.
📖 Hebrews 11:13-16 (KJV) These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. 15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. 16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
This is clearly referring to end-times when spiritual Israel will inhabit all of land of Israel and Davids seed (Jesus Christ) will reign on the throne forever.
📖 Hebrews 12:22-23 (KJV) But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
Not only were the Old Testament saints looking forward to the heavenly Jerusalem but also the disciples.
📖 2 Peter 3:13 (KJV) Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Peter wasn’t concerned about regaining the physical land of Israel? He was too busy looking to New Jerusalem, because thats where all the prophecies will definitely be fulled faithfully.
2️⃣ Mosaic Covenant
The land that was promised in Deuteronomy & Joshua, God told Israel that if they obeyed the law they would prosper in the land.
📖 Joshua 21:43-44 (KJV) And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein. 44 And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.
What we need to understand though is there were conditions to keeping the land.
📖 Joshua 23:16 (KJV) When ye have transgressed the covenant of the LORD your God, which he commanded you, and have gone and served other gods, and bowed yourselves to them; then shall the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and ye shall perish quickly from off the good land which he hath given unto you.
📖 Deuteronomy 28:63-64 (KJV) And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it. 64 And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.
The condition were about staying faithful to God, the problem is Israel has been in rebellion ever since and even today, you cannot tell me they have the Father as many would put it, because they don’t acknowledge the Son.
📖 1 John 2:22-23 (KJV) Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
I believe what Jesus said about them, they are of their father the Devil.
📖 John 8:44-45 (KJV) Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
So then technically speaking they are still rebellious, which means they cannot have the land back! But we know when Christ returns all of the Old Testament saints will raise again at the resurrection and will reign with Christ just as all the seed of Christ, Amen.
What you will notice is all the verses they would use to prove their position of a fleshy nation of Israel ruling and reigning now are verses that are speaking about either the Millennium reign, The New Jerusalem or the New Heaven and Earth, it will never align with this time now.
📖 Ezekiel 37:24-28 (KJV) And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. 25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever. 26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. 27 My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 28 And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
This is one example of a verse that is clearly talking about the New Jerusalem.
📖 Revelation 21:22-24 (KJV) And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. 23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. 24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
3️⃣ Davidic Covenant
📖 2 Samuel 7:12-17 (KJV) And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. 13 He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever. 14 I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men: 15 But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee. 16 And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever. 17 According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.
This is a double prophecy of Solomon and Jesus, because technically speaking Jesus will fulfill this.
📖 Luke 1:32-33 (KJV) He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
This passage is about Jesus.
📖 Acts 2:30-36 (KJV) Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; 31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. 32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. 33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. 34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, 35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool. 36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
The problem is people aren’t seeing the bigger picture, Jesus has made it clear yet there is spiritual blindness on their part.
📖 Matthew 15:14 (KJV) Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
📖 John 9:39-41 (KJV) And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind. 40 And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also? 41 Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.
I hope and pray we all see that the forefathers and the apostles were waiting for a Heavenly City were God will bring it and not man, Amen.
